This is a Passion Project
Overview
Space is always scarce in Mumbai and a space to sit and do nothing or do something you love! Well that’s all the more rare. As someone who stayed in just a bed and cupboard kind of space, I realised that even home is not conducive to work and cafes, as romantic and conducive as it sounds often ends up costing substantial when looked at regularly.
Approach
So when I shifted to a space that was actually quite big(for Mumbai) standards, my flatmate and I created a space where people can come together to work on their self-motivated unfinished projects. As two creatives, we had more friends in creative fields who all had these cool projects that they couldn’t do because of paucity of time or environment. We opened our space for all to come together or sit in a nicely decorated space and do their projects, collaborate and get inspired.
My flatmate is a movie enthusiast and I like female artists; Rekha Ji talks about love and passion in a very real way and Amrita Shergill was simply passionate about life and her craft. We built a brand world around them and incorporated cliche elements like roses and hearts.
